Gates HVAC Heater Hose 18710 is a premium molded heater hose designed to match original equipment (OEM) fit and performance. Made from durable EPDM rubber with synthetic fiber reinforcement, it resists heat, ozone and electrochemical degradation — a common cause of hose failure. The factory-molded construction ensures a precise fit in tight engine compartments and is suitable for coolant, water and air applications (including some marine uses). It meets SAE 20R3 Type EC Class D-1 and D-2 specifications and is rated for extreme temperatures from -40 °F to 275 °F (-40 °C to 135 °C).
