The XDP LB7 Injector Cup & O-Ring Set XD410 helps hold the fuel injector in the cylinder head of your 2001-2004 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7. The factory injector cups are known to seize in the head, leak, and even corrode. When this happens it can often cause over pressurization of the cooling system leading to symptoms of a blown head gasket, damage to the radiator, water pump, and other cooling system components. In some extreme cases, a catastrophic engine failure can occur if a coolant leak allows for coolant to enter the cylinders of your engine. Replacing Injector Cups during a fuel injector installation ensures that your engine and fuel injectors maintain proper function and performance. The XD410 Injector Cup Set is made as a direct-fit replacement and comes ready to install with 8 injector cups, and 16 O-rings. Each kit is backed by XDP’s 1-year, unlimited mileage warranty. Application Notes:For a proper installation, a small amount of red sealant or Loctite should be applied at the bottom of each injector cup (not included).
